Coordination between health institutions hardly exists:
Did you know that the different software medical centres uses are not compatible? Therefore, in most cases doctors cannot share a patient’s file! Important information is not passed on, the same analysis is taken time and time again, in the meantime that cancer keeps growing, and people die unnecessary. Additionally today’s ever smaller world includes millions of people living in a different country. Be it a retired German living in the Bahamas or a Kurdish woman in Holland, chances are great that they or their physicians have language problems with medical files. MedFileTM will remedy these shortcomings and become the supplier of choice delivering an integral solution.
MedFileTM delivers the following benefits:
- Offer the most attractive Emergency medical file with vital information that is automatically translated to an ever increasing amount of languages.
- Provide emergency personal with convenient and immediate forms of access to a patient’s medical history, his contacts and life testament (e.g. blood transfusion yes/no, are you a organ donor, authorization to treat a minor, medical power of attorney).
- Supply a personal health-related management system (e.g. store documents in a central place, medical contacts, agenda,…)
- Translation of medical files (e.g. a Canadian living in Mexico will have health records in English, French and Spanish…)
Mission and Guidelines
In MedFileTM’s aim to offer our important and mostly non-existing service we have created the following guidelines:
- User satisfaction is key to our success! All our efforts are aimed at excelling our users' expectations. Each user is important - only happy users spread the word and stay.
- The internet is our primary information channel. However, we will never use technology just for technology's sake – the users benefit is always the decision criteria.
- We are a multinational, multilingual organization, and will remain so.
- To make the system both age as fool proof, simplicity is basic. Both for users as for medical professionals, MedFileTM’s interface will always be as easy as switching TV channels.
